Astronaut's Suit Fabric A Disappointment June 8, 2010 Tony H M Tan (Malaysia) Some of the detailing is good. However, the fabric used was very thin, transparent and not durable. For that price, I would expect some kind of vinyl material which would make the suit look more authentic. My daughter had to wear a white outfit underneath because you can see through the cheap cotton fabric. What a disappointment.
Good for reports June 8, 2010 Tammy M. Armstrong This outfit worked well for my son who was presenting a report on Neil Armstrong. It was well made and looked very nice.
Amazing Costume for Pretend Play - So Disappointed April 13, 2010 Barbara Johnson (Missouri) We purchased my son his first aerospace costume when he was 2 1/2 and he wore it and wore it and he is almost 5. We purchased the second costume and it ripped at the seams in the legs at his first wearing of it! I do not know if it was because the first one was orange and we purchased it at the John F Kennedy Space Center in Florida and the second was white and we purchased it at Amazon.com. He can still fit into his 3/4 size so its not like he was too big for the 6/8 size. How disappointing for my little astronaut.
Great costume! March 24, 2010 Paula L. Taylor We purchased this costume for our son's Famous Person Day at school. He was Neil Armstrong. I was concerned about the correct size to purchase. Our son is normally a size 10, so I purchased size 12-14. When it arrived, I was impressed with the material and the patches, and it fit him well with some room to spare!! So he should be able to wear it a few more times before he grows out of it. We ordered the boots, too, which added to the realism of the costume. This costume was a hit at the Famous Person Day!
Future Astronaut Approved February 11, 2010 B. Nanas (Boston, MA USA) I bought this for my "future astronaut" for his 8th birthday. He loves it and wears it frequently while playing. He even wore it for his birthday party. (A space theme, what else?) He was rough on it, but it held up and washed beautifully.
When we received this, the flag patch was upside down. The manufacturer sent us a call tag on Friday and the new one arrived on Monday! They were wonderful to work with.
