I was so excited about this product until I saw it. It will not withstand my princess' abuse. It does look cool, but it is sooo loud. If I saw it in a store, I never would have bought it.

I sent this wand to my 4 year old niece for her birthday. She wanted a "sparkly pink princess wand" and this one looked fun. I had read one other review of this product that commented on it's durability (or lack thereof) but went ahead and got it anyway. The report from my sister-in-law is the following: It was my niece's favorite birthday present, and the most desired toy in the house for her and her little sister. Unfortunately, it met its demise the next day after falling/being thrown down on the tile floor in the doctors office, and she was devestated. Despite the lack of durability, I am going to give it another try as Christmas presents for them, and hope that they stick to playing with them in carpeted areas only. They really seemed to have fun with it for the short time it was whole, and for the low price I'm willing to try again.

My daughter got this wand at age 3 and LOVED it! It has a lot of pizazz! I would give it 3 stars because they must have forgotten to test it on real kids! She waved it hard and with a "bibbety bobbety boo!" she waved it right into a table (I think it was) and it broke in half! She really liked it so we duct taped it together while I searched for another one. I was surprised they were pretty low priced (for what you get)! So at that price, I can handle replacing it. My kids are not they type to let toys sit on a shelf. The low price puts it back up to 4 stars for me.

I purchased this wand for my niece who lives in Germany. The shipping was reasonably charged and the time it took to get it to her directly was incredibly fast. She loves the wand and is happily "granting wishes" to all her friends in Germany.
