This costume is awesome. I don't know why some people were saying it was made of cheap material. It's made of a very nice, thick and durable material and my daughter wears it everywhere, including when she's climbing trees and rolling on the ground (yes, she has quite the imagination). Perhaps, the manufacturer started making them a little better after seeing some of the earlier reviews (I don't know). But, it's a nice-looking costume and very well-made, ESPECIALLY for the price. I think I got mine for under $25. Oh, my daughter is, well, a little "petite" so we had to take up the bottom a little so it didn't drag. Even though the material is nice and thick, it was easy to hem it up (only took a couple minutes). Also, I ordered it 3 days before Christmas and used the standard shipping and got it on Christmas Eve (in 2 days), so speedy delivery too. Great buy!

I bought this product because I was too busy to go to Target and get the crappy "wear once and throw away" version. This robe was the envy of my son's Harry Potter fan friends. It was even warm enough that we didn't have to make our son wear a jacket to trick or treat (we live in San Francisco, so this might not apply to you poor folks in colder climes).
As other reviewers mentioned, it does run a bit small. Also, it shrinks up a bit after washing. So order a size or two larger. Did I mention that we washed it? When was the last time a Halloween costume lasted long enough to need washing? My son still wears it around the house on chilly days.
Great value and my kid loves it still.

The 'small' size for this robe is more than adequate for my medium sized six year old. The heavier material of this costume does make it look and feel more like an authentic robe. The elongated hood is a sweet detail as well as is the robe clasp and the embroidered crest. This costume will surely hold up over the test of time much longer than a nylon one for sure! Warmer and less static clingly too! Thank you!

Exactly what we wanted. Maybe a little pricier than it should be, but worth it for my 7-year-old. Looks just like the real thing, and should last us quite a while for imaginary-play at home!

This robe is great! Very nice, thick, soft fabric. The clasp didn't keep the robe together very well, but I just put a quick stitch in it and all was well. My daughter absolutely loved dressing up as Hermione for Halloween, and will continue to use this robe for playing!
