We purchased this outfit for our 4 year old son who presently loves firetrucks, fire fighters, etc. The items seem to be very good quality and should last through many fire adventures. The zipper and metal clips on the jacket are solid. The hat is not one of those flimsy plastic ones, it's more durable. I just purchased some boots to complete the outfit. My son practically wants to sleep in it!

I purchased this for my son (who turned 4 in Jan) this past Halloween and have decided to write a review for it because I'm not realizing how incredible this suit is. And that's because almost 5 months later he still puts it on and wears it! He loves this fireman suit. Looks like authentic bunker gear....feels like authentic bunker gear. It's amazing! Everyone who has seen him in it (including our local fire dept) cannot believe how realistic this suit it. And the helmet is very sturdy! Not some cheap flimsy plastic thing that cracks within minutes. At first I was skeptical paying almost $50 for something that I thought would be worn for one Halloween and then tossed in the back of the closet. But it was totally worth it....he loves it!
